Probably the most experienced players, but something always seems to go wrong...

3. Supernova Jpn
Solid. That is all.

4. Storm Hogs
Were underrated for a while, now cannot be taken lightly.

5. Stealing Society
They seem to ladder really well, so..

6. Best Before
I'm an iB/eF fanboy.

7. Clan Union
I think the name made me pick them.

8. Professional Athletes
Playing really well in ATs lately.

Given the defensive nature of play at the moment as well as their past performance, I wouldn't count guilds like rawr out either. cE and ei are both top guild remakes that should make the top 8 as well.

My top 8, in alphabetical order:

Close encounter
Dark alley
Delta formation
Good artist
Rebel rising
Stealing society
Supernova japan

I'm always forced to put my own guild [town] on rank1. But i think DF makes the largest chance.

Other guilds that can fill in:

- cE
- [StS]
- [Sink] (theyre bad but this tourney has the right maps for them.)

Given the current meta I'd recommend Stealing Society, CASTRATION, or Close Encounter to win. The good American teams haven't been playing much, and you have to pick euros to win in a eurospike meta.

If this monthly is anything like the last few, expect half the teams in the top 8 to be bad.

Any guild that can cast lots of hexes is probably going to do well. As such it makes it pretty hard to accurately guess a top 8....

Seeing dR and rawr go down to a hex team in back to back days makes me think this, but I think most teams now are gonna look for this.

Anywho:

i think dR or DF will will, but Sink, Sup, and whatever other random europe teams have a shot too.

Is DF playing or not? If they play that’s my number 1 pick. Granted dR has the skilled personel to win the MAT but they have burned my MAT predictions list on more than 1 occasion. Until they win it I doubt I will pick them to win it.

Most of DF claims they aren't playing, but it wouldn't surprise me if this was some sort of crazy pointless hoax.

My top 8:

1. dR - Yeah... for the reasons everyone already said.
2. StS - Shot to rank 2 immediately after they reformed
3. rawr - Always seem to do well
4. apr - Good players (eF if i remember right?)
5. cE - Good players, reformed 5 times or something
6. HGH - We should do well unless we find some new way to screw up
7. deer - Getting pretty good at buildwars
8. ei - Good players

You should really stop trying to be coy about it and just come out and admit you don't like us or get your facts right. I think either is a better alternative then these horrible attempts at flaming/trolling on your part.

Why did the guild wars website list predictions for only the top 3 and not top 8? Anyways - Finally moved house and back to playing hopefully I'll be able to make top 8 and buy super smash brothers brawl. Ye ye ye
